Can I Bunk? is a free attendance tracker made by Aryan Prince for students. This page explains what it stores and why. In short: only what's needed to track your attendance, never sold, no ads.

What we collect

  • From Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to identify your account and show your name in the app. We don't get your password or access to anything else in your Google account.
  • What you enter: your term dates, subjects, timetable, holidays and attendance marks.
  • Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and your IP address and browser name stored with that session for security.

How it's used

Only to run the app: to sign you in, save your attendance and calculate how many classes you can miss. There are no ads, no tracking or analytics scripts, and your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in a database hosted by Turso (in Mumbai, India) and the app runs on Vercel. These providers process data only to host the service.

Your choices

  • You can edit or remove any subject, class, holiday or mark at any time in the app.
  • Settings → Start over deletes your term, subjects, timetable, holidays and attendance.
  • To delete your account completely, email aryanprincesanty@gmail.com and it will be removed within 7 days.

Children

The app is meant for college students and isn't directed at children under 13.
